Not sure what to say?

My condolences Sally, Although I have been out of touch for many years I always had great respect and admiration for Bill and all that he has done for myself and others. He worked tirelessly for his constituents as well as all of Pennsylvania. I never cross the Clark's Ferry Bridge without thinking how hard he worked to bring that about. I will always treasure his friendship.

To Sally & Bill Jr. & Family: I was deeply saddened to learn of Bills passing. A flood of memories went through my mind going back to a cold winter evening in 1970 when he knocked on my door. From that time on we fought many a battle together. He was a friend and mentor. When everyone else was upset, he was the cool head in the room. Senator Moore had an appreciation of the fire service. I went to many VLAP loan closings with him. He was a gentleman and a diplomat. A true friend of Pennsylvania.
RIP Senator.

Goodbye friend and neighbor. Your First Mate Sally will carry on from here.

To Sally and family, my prayers and deepest sympathy to you. It was an honor working with the Senator on numerous occasions along with his staff, a wonderful staff, too! We had good times together, especially in the world of south central PA politics. A very good & caring man Bill was!!!

Bill Jr., My sincere condolences!

Our sincere condolences to the family on Bill's passing. He was a caring and compassionate man who contributed alot to his community.

I knew Senator Moore while working for Governor Dick Thornburgh and thereafter. As someone new to state government, I could not have asked for anyone who was more kind and helpful to me than was the Senator. To work with Senator Moore and those in his office (including the late Anne Anstine) was always the greatest of professional pleasures, a tone clearly set by the Senator, one of the true gentlemen of the Senate of his era. My sincere condolences to Mrs. Moore and the Moore family.
