Not sure what to say?

Bill was not my direct boss during my time at Morton & Company, but he said hello to me every time he passed my desk. He was incredibly supportive during the illness and death of my husband, and not only ensured I was okay as a young widow with children, but genuinely cared about how we were. He was always there with a smile and encouragement. I am sorry for his family, may you always know that in my small place in his life he made a world of difference for me.

We love you Bill

Chari, Stephanie, and Amanda, My heart is aching for you with this sudden loss! I will forever cherish my memories of babysitting Stephanie and Amanda when they were little. Your home was always so welcoming and felt like a second home to me. So much of that was because of Bill and you, Chari, and your warmth and love for me as an awkward adolescent. Ed and Chari - I have so many great memories of Bill. I will remember his infectious laugh and the friendship he extended to all. It was a privilege to have worked alongside him at Moreton & Company. He was truly a great leader in the insurance community and beyond. This dedication to his clients and others always went above and beyond. Jim and I extend our sincere sympathy to you and your families. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Ed, So sorry for such a sudden loss! I barely remembered who Bill was, but the photo shows me such an Armstrong face I could identify it in a heartbeat. And the idea that his wife was a Chari? When your sister has that unusual name..... Anyway, again, it goes against the laws of nature for those in our generation to lose a child. Sending you love and light, Cousin Terrell
