William Clyde Morrell

I have fond memories growing up in the same neighborhood as Bill and his sister Bette. I remember he was always building boats.

I would like to share a few thoughts about Bill Morrell. My Mother has been friends with Bill and Helen for many years. I have many great childhood memories of the Morrell's at their house on Tabor and especially Halloween get-togethers which is Helen's birthday. I will always remember Bill….. the sweet, sweet, man. I met him in 1939 when I was friends with his sister Mary Lou around 30th and Everett or Davis Street in the Laurelhurst neighborhood. I was 9 years old. Later in life after I got married, I was surprised when we built our first house in the Mt.
