William Byrd Morrison, 92 of Camden died Friday October 24, 2008 at Valley Oaks Rehibilitation and Senior Living. Mr. Morrison was an Army Captain during World War II. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was an avid Razorback fan.

Mr. Morrison is preceded in death by his wife, Donice Morrison and a sister Hazel Parham.

He is survived by his son, Bill Morrison and wife, Denise of Camden; granddaughter, Elaine Evans , great granddaughter, Kendall Evans both of Dallas, TX; three nieces, one nephew and several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday October 26, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Bubby Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home. Memorial may be made to the First United Methodist Church and Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
