William Lee Mote, age 76, was born October 23, 1939 in Ft. Towson, OK the son of Waford Mote and Ola Mae (Payne) Mote and had lived most of his life in Ft. Towson. His parents preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Donna (Taylor) Mote; two sons, William Lee Mote, Jr. and Edward Leon Mote; brother, Ed Mote and sisters, Ruth Phelps and Marilyn Trull. William was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of the VFW, and was of the Assembly of God faith. He liked to read, tinker with his lawn mower and drive around the country. William married Dorothy Gamblin on May 6, 1995 at Swink, OK. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: his wife, Dorothy Mote; son, Donald Ray "Duck" Mote of Ft. Towson, OK; daughters, Susie Mote of Lake Dallas, TX, Barbara Maxwell of Hugo and Remona Dunlap also of Hugo; brother, Gary Mote of Ft. Worth, TX; two sisters, Anie Brown of Ft. Towson and Minnie Sheridan of Ft. Worth, TX; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. FUNERAL SERVICES: Place: Graveside ~ Ft. Towson Cemetery ~ Ft. Towson, OK Date: Tuesday ~ July 26, 2016 Time: 10:00 A.M. Officiating: Bro. Leon Tims Interment: Ft. Towson Cemetery ~ Ft.
