I consider the years I knew Sandy Muir to
be among the richest and most inspirational
of my entire life. He was loved by everyone, and
the outpouring of that love from friends and family at his memorial service today was palpable. He was remarkable in that he saw only
the goodness and the generosity of spirit in everyone, and I think he was witnessing his
own lovely soul and spirit being reflected back.

Everyone knows that Sandy was an angel on Earth; now he is an angel in Heaven. Those of us who knew him are poorer because of his passing. But those who never met him will continue to be enriched, as his lessons on generosity, kindness, optimism, and devotion remain for us to teach. I have never known a finer man.
