Not sure what to say?

I am deeply sad about Bill...we were in OCS together.. I cannot believe..I talked to him before I left for CA in 2013. Omg!!! Damn Bill

I am so sorry for the Murphy family's loss. Bill and I served together in the Navy and I was privileged to know his friendship, professionalism and great personal charm. We shared many a cup of coffee or lunch together where the Murphy family was a regular topic. My "COS" was quite the leader. I will miss him greatly.

Bill, I won't say goodbye, instead I'll just say 'Fair winds and following seas' Rest in peace my friend.

Commander Murphy was a great inspiration and roll model to the kids in the ROTC program. I can't thank him enough for all that he has done for my daughter and her friends. Commander will be missed but will never be forgotten. Commander Murphy may you Rest in Peace sir....

My deepest condolences to Commander's family. Commander you were such a wonderful person and an inspiration to me. Always there for me and as well to others when we needed advice. Love you and miss you. R.I.P. Commander Murphy <3 you are truly going to be missed. Remember Go Navy Beat Army and the ROTC will always be your Bad Dogs <3

Sending my families condolences. Commander Murphy impacted our lives through our son Iain who was in LHS JrROTC and is now serving aboard the USS Alexandria SSN 757. We are grateful for the impact he had on our son, and are truly heartbroken at hearing this news.
