My sincerest condolences to Bill's friends and family. I shared an office with Bill at Hanford in 1987. We were working on the basalt storage project, a very frustrating experience for both of us. We were both music lovers. He liked punk and I liked classical. We found common ground when I invited him to accompany me to a Mid-Columbia Symphony and Chorus performance of Arthur Honegger's modernistic take on "King David" (my wife was singing in the soprano section).
