Not sure what to say?

He was the best teacher and friend. I remember when a friend passed he was ready the paper in class when he read the article about it. He was there to talk to. I´ve been looking for him for years to say thank you. Well hope he knows I appreciate him treating me like a person not an idiot like other teachers did over the years. THANK YOU

Bill Murphy was a really special guy! As LPS colleagues for many years, we shared many reasons to teach in Lynn; the top one, the kids, of course! They loved him and he was there for them in all the best ways... Rest in peace, Bill, but don´t forget to be your smiling, loving life self. You will be missed.

You were the best teacher I ever had you had so much compassion for us all.i also remember ordering pizza and you delivering. my heart goes out to your family

I ran into him a few months back and we reminisced about his teaching days at Cobbett Jr High. He was more than a teacher. Such a cool guy. RIP Mr Murphy

He was my teacher 1980, we all loved him, nicest man

Sending my condolences and prayers to the family he we had so much fun in his classroom. You will be truly missed.

Mr. Murphy was one great history teachers. He was full of jokes. He always called me Barbados to make me laugh. RIP

Dear Anne and the rest of the family, we are so sad to hear of Bill's passing. Sending love and prayers to you all.
