Capt. William E. Nehring

I knew him for such a short time, when I was a near neighbor, 5 to his 7--we went to the same grade school, and then I moved away. My fondest memory is of going to the beach with my mother and Billy and his brother Curty with their mother. He found his niche in life, and did well at it, and that pleases me.

"Captain Bill" was a great golf buddy and friend. We were truly blessed to have crossed paths. Rancho Murieta community will miss him.

I was privileged to have crossed paths with the Captian recently. He was a good man.

I considered Bill one of my best friends in High School. We shared over nights and hours studying together in addition to many weekend nights at dances and trying to stay out of trouble. I'm happy to hear that he reached the rank of Captain and lived a full and happy life. I missed him at the 50th reunion. I'm sure he will be missed by many. My deepest condolences to his family.
