William "Bill" Lee Neiman, 83, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2013 at his home in Georgetown, Texas. He was born March 2, 1929 to Bill and Leona Neiman in Foley, Minnesota. On February 8, 1954 he married Judy Caviness of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Bill was a veteran of the Armed Forces and a pioneering, well-respected business leader. He had many longtime associates, of which many became close friends. Bill was a beloved husband and father who enjoyed golfing and spending time with friends. He especially enjoyed mentoring youths through Georgetown Partners in Education. Besides his wife Judy, Bill is survived by his son, Mark Neiman; daughters: Dana Wackerbarth and Kris Neiman; grandson, Aaron Wright; brother, Bob Neiman; his four-legged companion, Munchkin; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nita Haggstrom; and granddaughter, Emily Wright. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the loving care and support of friends. Additionally the family extends their sincere gratitude to the care-givers at Hospice Austin and Visiting Angels. Their dedication and effort to provide quality care was a heartwarming blessing. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 15th, at San Gabriel Presbyterian Church, in Georgetown. The family invites you to join them for the Reception, at the Church, following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SafePlace in Austin, Hospice Austin or San Gabriel Presbyterian Church in Georgetown.
