DR. WILLIAM C. NORTH

I knew DR. Bill North from the Memphis Journal Review Club. We met at the Memphis Country Club. We realized we graduated from the from the same college, De Pauw University in Greencastle, Indiana!! I knew Dan Quayle who later became Vice President as he also graduated from DePauw University. He attended law school and we attended medical school.Bill was an excellent physician!! I am sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. Your father spoke at my dad's funeral in 1972. My dad was the late John Edward(Eddie)Amis. Your father was my dad's boss in Durham North, Carolina. My father was offered a job to come to work with your dad in Memphis. Our family moved to Memphis in 1965. Dr. North was kind to my father and my family.
