Not sure what to say?

My family and I lived next door to Bill and his family on West Bay Dr in Cocoa Beach. Although a few yrs younger (probably 10-12 yrs old) and knew Wally better, I still remember the day he came home from SEA w/the large Welcome Home banner out front. I moved away but over the yrs, my wife, kids, and I would return to visit my parents and would see Bill who was now living in his parents' home. Whether seeing him there or uptown (@ The Surf), he always mixed warmth, kindness, and humor in...

I just found out that Billy had passed away and wanted to pass on my condolences to his family and friends. I was in the eighth grade with Billy at the old school across from what now is the library in Cocoa.
We remained good friends all these years.
Super Guy, one of a kind.

Rest in peace my friend

He loved you all! And I love reading these memories! Please keep them coming! They are helping my heart to heal ❤

Billy and Speedy

My heart is breaking, especially since I didn't stop to see you Friday. Your a wonderful person, father and friend. You will be missed by anyone who's lives were touched by you. "Life is good" knowing you. Tear Bear

I'll always remember ur dad lets a bunch of your friends over and we were all in the house dancing and sitting in a John boat in the middle of the living room. Fun memories of you house and ole Bill. Xoxo

Shelby and Pixie- his joyous spirit and smile is one that will live on in our hearts always. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family during this very difficult time. Love and Blessings.

Billy was a great guy and a good friend who enjoyed life to the fullest. He was also a friend to many of those that were less fortunate in life. He always had someone under his wing that he would help get back on his /her feet. He treated everyone equal and would listen and advise anyone who had a problem. His hobby life was all about Boats Boats Boats. He had a photographic memory of any and all old boats that floated down our river. And, he knew his way around the Bahamas by water and road...

Rest in Peace Bill.
