Not sure what to say?

I'm very sorry to hear of your fathers passing. He was a good man. I will keep you in my prayers. My condolences for your loss Kenneth G. Jack Jr.

Bill was a Monson icon. A Main street fixture. I remember most of his siblings and my parents knew them all. I and my parents grew up on the Stafford Road where the Nothe families lived also. We called it Notheville!. My Condolences to the family.

My condolences to the Nothe family. Bill will be missed. As a young teen pulling into his station to fuel up for the first time he let me know he knew who my Dad was...another set of eyes on the Sweeney kids growing up for sure...I remember running out of gas a few times in high school where Bill was always the one who helped me out. He even let me borrow his car one time so he could fix something on my old clunker. Thank you Bill for your excellent service and always going above and beyond...

Thank you bill for all of the years of great service!
You are a true gentleman and we shall all miss you.
God bless you Bill and your wonderful family !

With love and sympathy,

My condolences to the Nothe family.
Arriving in Monson in '79, it did not take long to realise that Bill Nothe was a Monson institution'. Since then, Bill's blackboard has kept my visitors and me amused, entertained, informed, inspired, provoked and at times of course, confused.
We looked forward to the reoccurring, often corny posts as we do the return of the grackles or the first snow. These were Monson's calendar, subliminally reminding us of necessary preparations to make for...

Bill was an incomparable, almost comforting sight to see in Monson. A legend! Behind his slightly tough exterior, what a kind-hearted, good man that employed many of the town's young, had such admirable work ethic, and was a veteran no less! R.I.P., Bill, we're all gonna miss you, sir. Condolences to the family.

My condolences to the entire Nothe family. Bill filled my very first gas tank in my first car, and many more after that. Wishful thinking but maybe there is a collection of his funny chalkboard sayings written down somewhere - those were priceless! Plenty of times I had people beeping at me when I stopped briefly in the middle of main street to read them. Those often made my day - he will be missed.
