Dr. William D. Nugent

I knew Dr. Nugent as a nurse practitioner when I worked for the pain clinic associated with the Anesthesia Group. I´ll always remember his kindness to the NP´s when we worked with him. One of his most remembered statements after we evaluated the patient was "sounds like a plan". He was a wonderful man full of empathy, unlike many physicians I´ve worked with. As an intern and later as a resident at St. Joseph´s, I met the ever youthful, ever friendly, ever smiling and ever helpful Bill Nugent. He assisted in the care of many of my obstetrical deliveries and of my patients having surgery. To be in Bill´s presence was to feel his warmth , sense of humor, and caring nature. Donna and Family, We are sadden to hear of Bill's passing. I recall many, many great adventures with Bill from Big games hunts to sharing a duck blind.
