William Patrick O'Leary

Bill was my "mentor" and supervisor at NASA, and raised me up, as a young employee, to take what comes in stride. He was my "role model", and I've thought of him many times since last we met. My condolences to Sally and family.

Dear Sally,
My heart goes out to you and your family now. He will always be Billy Pat to me and to all of the Miskovskys! Growing up in this Grogan/Tobin/O'Leary clan of"old Washington" was truly a blessing and I will always treasure the memories (as far back as Quincy Street!!) of all of these families together. Mom was so proud of all of her cousins; Billy Pat's good-hearted gentleness will be missed.

Dear O'Leary Family,
How shocked and saddened I am to hear the news of Bill's death. My brother, Mark, called this afternoon to tell me. I am sorry that I cannot be there in person to express my condolences. I will be conducting a funeral on Friday morning here in Lititz. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Bill was a gentle man and a gentleman with a ready smile. I always looked forward to spending Sunday afternoons at the O'Leary home, where Bill could usually be found...

We were so lucky to have a terrific Uncle like you. I'll always remember Fourth of July at your mother's house, adventures at Lake Boon, rotting pumpkins on the roof and a thousand more childhood memories. We will really miss you.
