I served under LTC O'Connor at Ft Ord CA, by far one of the best Battalion Commanders the Army ever had. It was an honor to serve in his Battalion and I am sad to hear he has passed

I was shocked to read today of Bill's passing. My condolences to Karen and the family.

Karen, Sean, William, David, Mary and Nina....My deepest sympathies to you all. To say I am shocked is a huge understatement. As you know, Bill and Kathy and I grew up together as first cousins often do. To know I am the last remaining is not a comfortable feeling. Love to you all. I wish I was in Michigan so I could travel down an be with you all at this time. Know that I am hugging you all in my heart.
