There hasn't been a week gone by not thinking about my hero cousin Buddy O'Loughlin". Many memories keep resurrecting; "Oh how he could kick a football", his beautiful sounding 1955 Agua Blue Ford Thunderbird, his Marine Corps years, his many jokes and his artistic ability, our relationship working together for my dad, his other nick name given by his young friends "speed" because they thought he was slow, and his car's fishing trunk, more lures than" Capital Sporting Goods! My last visit...

I once again read the obituary about my first cousin Buddy O'Loughlin. Not only was it beautiful written, but exactly how the man was! We worked together in my Dad's business, full of fun, and much laughter with his comedy, and oh how he liked my mother's lunches. As a young kid, cousin Buddy was a giant to me, as a very strong, athletic young man, with a very good eye for beautiful cars, especially the 1957 Lincoln and the 1955 Ford Thunderbird he bought new!
