Not sure what to say?

I would like to offer my condolences to Gov. O'Neil's Family. I served with Bill in the House from 1975 to 1980 and I remember him as a kind and thoughtful friend. He was one hell of a politician and he did the Democratic party in the State of Connecticut proud.

Nikki, Pat and I are saddened by Bill's passing. He helped so many people in his lifetime and he will be long remembered. Our deepest sympathy to you, his greatest supporter.

Dear Mrs.O'Neill,

Deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your family on the passing of the late Honorable Governor O'Neill:

My 86 year old mother recently passed away, (September 30, 2007).

May God be with you and your family:

May the Honorable Governor O'Neill rest in peace.

Respectfully and Sincerely,

Mrs. O'Neill, Sorry to hear about your husband passing away. I remember him when he used to come to your classroom in 5th grade. I was I was in your classroom when I first came here from South Korea. You was my first teacher I had once I came to the States.

Nikki,
Please accept our deepest sympathy for the loss of our great Bill. Peter and I appreciate having been included in many very special and important times of his life. I will send memorial cards to his Aunt Katherine Fitzsimmons, Cousins: Angela Fingleton, Thomas Quinn and Freddie Stratton in Ireland who were all very proud of their relative in America. Peter and I will always have a very special place in our hearts and have very fond memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you...

Dear Nikki, I am so sorry for the loss of your husband and my friend. I think back to the last time that I saw him at the Parma in Glastonbury, and we had such a wonderful lunch together. I met the Governor in 1974 when I started with the State Capitol Police and through all those years he never changed. I am sorry I did not attend the services, but please know that I am praying for you and my life is better because I have met the both of you. When people said to me throughout my career, to...

Nikki,
We are sorry that a great man left our world. May you be comforted in knowing that the love and support you both shared will always be apart of your world. God Bless.

I see his photos and smile. I am so proud of the man he was. Gov. O'Neil was governor throught my childhood so I grew up having him lead the way. He will be dearly missed but his memory will be honorable. God Bless the family & friends of one of the greatest leaders.

Dear Mrs. O'Neill,

I am so sorry for your loss. I am also sorry that I cannot extent my condolences in person because I just gave birth to a little boy, but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I was truly honored to have had the opportunity to work for such a great man and I will always remember how kind he was to me personally and professionally. Thank you for sharing him with so many of us over the years.

Sincerely,
