Not sure what to say?

Bill was one-of-a-kind. I enjoyed working with him, and most of all the stories he could tell. To say he will be missed is an understatement. May God bless and comfort those he leaves behind.

Prayers and love to the Oberst Family. Inga, you will be on my mind and in my heart tomorrow.

Sending lots of prayers and love to the Oberst Family. Inga, you will be on my mind and in my heart tomorrow.

Daddy, I will love you always.

I share the sentiments expessed by Frank, Amy, and Emily. Your dad was a great man and will be missed by all of us.

My condolences to the family. As a "youngster" in the broadcast business in Panama City, I learned a lot from Mr.Oberst. I will always remember his professionalism and his tenacity to get the story right. God bless you Bill, and the entire Oberst family.

We are so sorry for your loss. Your family is in our prayers. Inga & Bill may your always feel your parents presences around you and your memories bring you smile. Matthew 5;4 "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." God Bless.

My regrets and commiserations to Bill's family. Bill was a newsman's newsman, always on the hunt for the story and always fair in it's telling. The Emerald Coast is poorer for his passing as he was a community treasure in his work, experience, and his caring for what happened in his hometown. We won't see folks like Bill again, true journalists who fight for the communities and the people who live in it.

I'm so sorry to hear the sad news. I worked with Bill years ago. He was one of my mentors when I became a TV Journalist. One of the most creative writers in the business and a great man. He will be missed.
