Not sure what to say?

Marcia,

On behalf of your colleagues at the Health Systems 20/20 project, I would like to offer our sympathy and support following your loss. We did not know your father, but we have learned that he was a pioneer and inspiration in his field--as well as to you and your family. Our thoughts are with you in your grief.

Sincerely,
Marty Makinen, Director, Health Systems 20/20

Dear Marcia,

You and your family have my deepest sympathy and that of your friends and colleagues here at the US Agency for International Development at this difficult time. Your father sounds like a wonderful human being and the likely source of your adventurer's spirit. How poignant that he made his greatest journey on Christmas day.

With heartfelt sympathy,
Karen Cavanaugh

Bill Occomy was one of a kind, they don’t make them like that anymore. It was truly a privilege to have had the opportunity to be
acquainted with Bill. He was the original brainy-ack.

I was saddened to hear the passing of my bowling teammate. We shared many good times during and after league games.

I will miss him.

I worked with Bill at Wards long ago in the early 70s, yet when I saw the obituary it was as though I had lost a close friend. He was such a friendly and helpful gentleman. My sympathies to you on your loss.

Bill was a great guy and he will surely be missed.

My condolences to the family of Bill Occomy. I will remember Bill for his intelligence and his contagious laugh. Bill & I have shared some great times together. I will miss Bill's physical presence, but Bill's spirit will always hold a place in my heart. Bless you Bill on your journey.

I am so saddened to learn that Bill has left us too soon. We worked together for many years at Montgomery Ward and were bridge partners for much of that time. I always admired Bill's steadiness and disposition as well as his far-ranging intellect. He is missed.
