Not sure what to say?

I first met Dr. Offutt I 1987 when I was attending the University of Kentucky. He was very kind and supportive when he diagnosed my myopia. I visited his office for regular eye exams when I lived in Lexington. He was a wonderful person, and he distinguished himself as a medical leader in the Lexington community. RIP ....

Bill was a best friend at W&L and I was glad to see how his life developed. RIP. Bob Bohan

To the family, you all have my earnest prayers at this time of your need. I SO remember the day he told me I had optic neuritis. He was so wonderful and gallant that morning. Family I shall never forget his kindness to me. Further he did say I should get an MRI, to see if I had MS. I have always been so thankful for him. My hope and prayer is that you all be comforted in this season. Blessings Dora Summerville, South Carolina

Bill certainly brought joy and laughter to my life. From meeting him years ago at ASOPRS meetings to him attending our wedding in Barbados, he always made me smile. I feel so fortunate to have spent time with him and called him my friend. I will miss him. Betsy B. Naugle NOLA

I was saddened to hear of our loss of William N. Offutt IV, M.D. He was a dear and close friend as well as being one of the most entertaining and fun people on the planet ! He would light up a room upon entering. He was a noted and respected Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic Surgeon. Bill attended the wedding of my wife Betsy and myself in Barbados. True to form, he regaled the crowd with his wit and charm. He was a wonderful man. Thomas C. Naugle, Jr. M.D. New Orleans

I was a patient of Dr. Offutt. And my first appt. with him was near Halloween, when he came into the room to meet me, he was wearing a Large Sponge Bob costume!! Funniest man I had met in a long time. The good Dr. will be missed!!

What a great friend and hunting buddy. His offices told care of my late mom for years. He always had that contagious smile. Our prayers to all the family. Phil T.Owens

Webb, my heart goes out to you and your family at this difficult timewith thoughts and prayers. Marcia Baird

I was a patient of Dr. Offutt´ s for over 30 years and still miss him. He never held back and told you what was going on. He reminded me of my father-in-law who was a small town family practice doctor in Owen County. Please accept my condolences for your loss. He was a wonderful doctor and no doubt in my short appointments of knowing him loved his family and took great care of his patients.
