Not sure what to say?

I met Bill and Ruth many years ago through Patti, running half marathons in Moab. I also have fabulous memories of a canoe trip down Labyrinth Canyon with Bill, Ruth and Patti. I was so sorry to hear of Bill's passing - he was one of a kind, and such a kind, witty and smart man. Condolences Ruth, Patti, and the rest of Bill's family and friends.

During the 60's I was a regular baby sitter for the Ohlsen family on 2nd Avenue. I have fond memories of the whole family. Ruth and Bill set a remarkable example as great human beings, providing a caring home, full of books, music, and love, always respectful of others and the outdoors. I am one of many who appreciate the positive influence they've been throughout their lives. Please accept my deepest condolences.

My deadest sympathy to the Ohlsen Family as you reflect on a Life Well-Lived. I remember a home with such love, laughter, knowledge and etiquette. Two gracious parents, and three of the most beautiful daughters, bring out the fondest of memories to all that admired and adored your family. Your husband, and father chose well in all that life could provide. The world needs more Real Men like Him. Sincerely, Kevin LaMont Smith

Just this past April we were with him at the Moab campout & he was friendly & witty as always, showing no indication that anything was wrong. How quickly things took a turn for the worse....
