Always think of Billy. There something about establishing friendships at a young age...Everything seems new and unknown and exciting.....Billy was a part of that, and observing the great impact he had in his chosen profession was a true testament to him and his strong moral values. He was a great person, and a truly a deeply loyal friend to me. He will always be missed.

After learning of Billy's passing, I am deeply saddened. This past weekend was our 50th high school reunion, and I questioned Billy's absence. Now I understand. Never was I aware of his illness; he was always a ray of light to me, as we navigated the murky waters of adolescence. Rest in peace, Dr. Oliver. You left an indelible mark!

My brother was extraordinary. Despite his physical challenges, he gave all of himself to the work of making a difference in the lives of those with life threatening conditions. He touched so many because of his deep compassion and understanding for those facing an unknown future. He lived to make a difference and because of that he truly did. His family missed so much of his life because of the devotion to his life's work. We can only be grateful the memories we have and the impact he...

I just was informed about Billys passing. He and I were not only Fraternity Brothers, but spent many many nights studying together at the University in the Law School Library to avoid all distractions ( his idea). He was here in south Florida a number of years ago, and we met for lunch and spent 4 hours just getting caught up on all of the things good friends talk about. It was as though time stood still, and on the drive home I realized what a great friend he was, and would always be.
He...

I remember Bill from our school days at Brookwood Forest grade school and I do believe that he attended MB Junior High school with the rest of us kids. The last time I remember seeing him was the delightful time he popped into visit during an early May afternoon. My friends and I were on break and were sitting inside the 'mall' on the bench nearest the school library. I remember looking over to the left and there he was! He told us that since all of us in the class of 1974 were graduating in...
