I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Orr, unfortunately. I only learned of him and his passing today from his son. His son and I are strangers, but we struck up a conversation and told about what a wonderful man Mr. Orr was and all the extraordinary things he accomplished. I realize you don't know me and it's not lost on me how weak and fruitless any words of mine may be in your time of loss, but for whatever it's worth to you please know I will be breathing a prayer for him and for your...

I just learned of Larry's passing and extend my sympathy to the family. Larry was one of my first bosses at Southern. He was a great person and leader and I benefitted greatly from his guidance. I will always have fond memories of Larry and pray for peace for his family.

Larry was my boss when I first went to work for Southern Co. Services and now Southern Nuclear (38 years ago)and work for Larry many years. He was the greatest boss to work for basically because he was a great person. I always had the greatest respect for Larry and appreciated everything he did for those that worked for him or with him.
