Mr. Pable's class was a rite of passage at Webster Stanley Middle School, and he led it with a beautiful mix of friendliness, good humor, and fear of messing up on your next 'Goodie' report. Carrot and stick, he knew exactly how to challenge his students to do good work. In recent years, he has been active on facebook, and regularly made me smile, taught me something new, and made me think. May his memory be a blessing to his family and all who knew him. It certainly is for me.
