Rest in Peace, Billy. Your long, long ago neighbor, John (Buddy) Bradley

I´m so sorry to hear about Billy. We were friends for childhood. I lived two doors from his home on Water street. He was a wonderful guy who everyone loved. He was Me. OVID. He dedicated his life to the township, and served it all his life. From a fireman to Chief , was an outstanding person , who would give his time for anybody . Go rest high on that mountain Bill , your work here on earth is done. May you and Bonnie rest in the arms of Jesus . GOD BLESS JOHN HARDING

Bill was a mentor. Always calm with a good sense of humor. You will be missed Bill

Bill leaves behind a legacy for Ovid and Seneca County. He was dedicated to his God, fire department and the community he served. kind, gentle man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it! Teacher, mentor and friend. You will be missed Bill Palmer but your spirit will live on in the community you served for so many years. Bonnie is waiting for you in heaven with open arms. Go rest on high Bill, your work here on earth is done. May God bless you and watch over you and the...

Sorry to hear about your dad Arlo.

Bill was respected by all who worked with him. He made himself available to investigators in determining fire causes during his role as the county coordinator, and/or chief of the Ovid Fire Department. During my role as an adjuster for about forty years, Bill was always friendly and available to help. He certainly will be missed in his community.

Mr palmer was a great man had a kind heart and loved being on his golf cart and sitting on his porch. He always say hi to everyone. He will be missed.
