William Paragon Obituary
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Floy Ray Paragon. Left behind to cherish and honor his memory are his sons William D "Dan" Paragon (Sharon) and David W Paragon (Nina); his grandchildren: Kayla, Benjamin, Hannah, Chandler, Haley, Dawson, Connor, Joshua, and Brantley; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
He was a retired employee of the Louisville Water Co with 34 proud years of service. He also proudly served his country as a member of the US Army. Along with loving and caring for his family he was a lifelong fan of Kentucky Basketball and has passed that love on to his family that still carries it on.
Visitation will be 4-8 pm Friday with funeral Saturday at 10:00 am, in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. He will be buried alongside his wife at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, who was waiting 23 years to welcome him into Gods Kingdom.
In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.

Dan, working with your father back in the day, with his keen water quality knowledge of making sure that all Jefferson County residence had good and safe drinking water. Make your father Plant Operator skills a best practice to learn from. Dan, I want o offer my deepest condolence for the lost of your father. And in the coming days and months you the family grow stronger for one another.

Bill's love and enjoyment of life was obvious by his laugh. When Bill was working at Louisville Water Company he could be in the control room with the door closed and I could hear him laughing down the hall and around the corner in my office with my door closed!!! I missed him when he retired and looked forward to seeing him at Christmas and retirement parties or occasionally running into him at Walmart. He was always a bright light in our routine work life.
