Not sure what to say?

I met Bill when we traveled together to support the victims of Hurricane Sandy. I was impressed with Bill's ability to comfort those who were returning to damaged homes. We were working in a neighborhood together when he received word that his wife was ill. The shock was immediate. Bill began to cry and then pulled himself together. It was obvious that he was very close to his wife. I never met her, but I know that she was very special to him. We will miss Bill.

My complete empathy for the family. Unexpected out of normal sequence loss of a loved one is devastating. The pain is as deep as was your love. The terrible sadness is in the separation to be diminished only by time and faith. Stay strong.

The world has lost a wonderful, positive, Proud American...it was a blessing and a privilege that I met Bill at USAFA. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing, and pray for the strength of his his loved ones.

Thanks for all the fun we had & spending time together, miss you!

We remember Bill as a teenager and are very sorry to hear of his death. Our prayers and thoughts with Bill and Barbara and all the family.

I knew Bill from elementary school and will remember him as an outstanding student, exceptional athlete and genuinely nice person. Luwana, Carl and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

LU,
Just found out today about Bill. My heart goes out to you. I am so blessed to have worked with him, what a pleasure he was. My thoughts are with you and the family.

As I recall memories of Bill, I can't even picture him without a big smile on his face. I'm thinking of your family at this sad time and keeping you all in my prayers.

So very sorry to hear this. Gone much too soon! My prayers are with his family and friends. ~~Gail Francis Tarlton USAFA'82
