Not sure what to say?

So many years have gone by but the memory of bill has not disappeared. There are so many events in my life I sure wish I could still share with him. More importantly, I miss hearing his stories and reading his letters he faithfully sent me each year. I have so many good memories .

Has it been that long. It seems like just yesterday that we went out to lunch or I received another humorous letter. That demonstrates that friends live on forever in your heart. Bill is that forever friend.

Bill helping me celebrate my 65th birthday in 2012

Bill has been a part of my life for nearly 40 years. He was there when my daughter was small, through my marriage, breakup and my leaving to go on the mission field to Guatemala in 1995. He wrote me at least two letters a year which i saved. letters full of stories and full of humor. i would just sit and read and laugh. Years ago I met Mark, other family members and also his Weimaraner.

So especially to the family, I would like to say--I'm sure Bill's goodness, his caring, his great...

I light this candle for my beautiful late wife Jan in memory of her Uncle Bill whom she loved so much. Peace be with you Bill.

I was saddened to hear of your loss.Memories are the legacy of love. A wonderful person to work with at Social Security.

So sad to hear of the loss of my good friend, Bill. We met and worked at SSA in the mid 80's--you meet lots of people, but few of them remain in your life as you move onto new positions, and retirement. I will surely miss him. He was a kind, gentle spirit with a wit and wry sense of humor. I last talked with Bill on his birthday and just told another SSA co-worker on Sunday that I was going to give him a call--imagine seeing this obit on Monday morning. To his family (I met Mark a few...
