Dear Beth and the rest of the Pattons;
I was very sorry to hear from Nancy that Louis was sick and that his condition worsened. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that he is now without pain or worry.
If there truly is an afterlife, Louis deserves to be there, and in the heavenly afterlife that we can believe in. Whatever that afterlife is like, we don't know, because no one can come back and tell us. I think it must be very individual for each of us. I would like to see dead loved...

I read about Mr. Patton's (Lou's) passing in the Post-Standard with sadness. I taught at Auburn C.C. with him in the 60's and 70's. I admired his skill at negotitations and his teaching interests. May God be with you at this time.
