Not sure what to say?

We were Long Lake neighbors of Bill's and a fellow veteran. We frequently pass his oldest lake front property on Long Lake frequently on our golf cart and remember his friendship. He would have been disappointed to see what had become of his lakeside sanctuary. He love the natural setting he created. As we say in the Navy, "Fair winds and following seas".

So happy he made the Honor Flight. Wish I could have talked to him more about it. A great man and surely a true gentleman. Will miss him.

I was saddened to see on FB that Bill had passed. He was a wonderful, kind man, and had given me some advise many years ago, advise that opened my eyes then as it has in these times. I had much respect for him. As I do Barb, from having worked closely together. I am glad to have seen you both earlier this year albeit not in the best circumstances tho. God bless you and your family.

Truly a gentleman and good friend. Sadly missed.

Our deepest condolences to the Pauley family. Even though we will not be able to attend the services, our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. He will be remembered as a great neighbor and friend.

Bill and I cleared a pathway in the water way to Geiselman Island and Woodlands a few years ago for the dedication ceremony. Bill was a strong supporter of the Valparaiso Chain of Lakes Watershed and the conservation movement. I met Bill and his wife Barb in the Valpo Jaycees a few decades ago. Ed & Karen Seykowski
