Not sure what to say?

Dear Joyce, Karen and John, There are no words. Blessings to you all.

Karen and Joyce, I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. My parents mentioned Bill and Joyce fondly over the years. He will certainly be missed by the Gardiner community.

So sorry for your loss. Bill and Joyce were good friends of my parents Sam and Gloria Laflin. My daughter Kasey helped care for Bill at Graybirch.

I met Bill for the first time working as a cashier in Farmingdale. After seeing him a couple of times I just HAD to ask if he was in any way related to the Laflin family as I saw a huge resemblance to my grandfather. No, he was not, however he was thrilled to find out my grampa was Sam. As it would turn out he and Joyce were great friends of my grandparents. From that moment on he told me a new story each time I saw him. I met Joyce only a few years later at my new job and saw Bill more...

My condolences to the Perry Family for the loss of Col. Bill Perry. I had Mr. Perry as a freshman english teacher at Winslow High School. He made a good impression on me in my youth. I was in the class of 67. May Bill's spirit live long in everyone who he met in his life. I also commend you for your service to our country.

I offer my condolences to Col. William Perry's family.

I was one of his many students while he was at Winslow High School, Class of 1962.

Rest in peace uncle Bill I love you

Joyce, Karen , John and family, so sorry for your loss. Many memories of doing the KVMC Auxillary Variety show with your dad/husband as well as other school events. May the promises of our Lord and Savior bring you peace and comfort in your time of grief.

Joyce, so sorry to read about Bill's passing. He was one of the best teachers I have ever had. When I taught ROTC in the mid 80's I tried to morph myself into him - told myself that if I was half as good a teacher as he was, I'd do just fine. Here's a final salute from one soldier to another.
