Not sure what to say?

Mr. Pfister was my 6th Grade teacher at "Opportunity School" in Allentown, PA (1964-65). He was outstanding in every way, made each of us feel that we could accomplish anything, and we at Jefferson School were truly lucky to know him.

Bill Pfister was a special teacher and a special man. His passion for language, love of literature and the arts and his extraordinary sense of humor had a profound effect on me. The last time I saw him was almost three decades ago. I have never stopped thinking of him and the impact he had on the course of my education and, consequently, my life. Over the past several years, I have attempted to find contact information for him, but was unable to. This was the first time I entered his...

Mr Phister was that special teacher you always remember with a smile. He was hilarious and could make anyone laugh. I remember his crazy Halloween costumes and his love for theater with all those playbills displayed on his classroom wall. He was more than a teacher, he was a friend to all. I am fortunate to have stayed in touch with him recently by phone and mail since he refused to purchase a computer. Rest in peace my teacher, my mentor and my friend.

First, may all dear friends and family of Mr. Pfister feel the warmth and love that Bill would bestow upon them at this delicate time. You have all been blessed to have been a part of his world and I am sure that he felt blessed knowing that you were part of his world as well. I am a former student of Mr. Pfister..and a student that sent many a teacher to early retirements. Some teachers leave a lasting impression and Bill Pfister has left an eternal impression upon me. He believed in me and...

I was a student of Mr. Pfister at The Highland School.
He was a somewhat unique educator because he was kind, caring, considerate and took a genuine interest in the Youth of America.
May he rest in peace and may his memory be for a blessing.

Mr. Pfister..Yes he was an extraordinary teacher..yes we went to Europe together senior year..But my fondest memory was when he walked into the classroom one day and says, "Girls..Do you know that when you say a boy is cute, you are actually saying that he is bow legged?" Yes, that's right.."cute" means bow legged in proper English :) Heaven has gained another angel...

Mr. Bill Pfister was an extraordinary man who touched so many lives as a teacher and a wonderful human being. He left so great an impression on me, as one of his students, about the love of living and learning that to this day I try to pass it on to others in everything I do. He is one of the 5 people I hope to meet again in Heaven.

One often hears about that special teacher whose memory you will always cherish. Mr. Pfister was that kind of a teacher. His memory remains alive.

BILL WAS ONE OF THE MOST LOVING AND COMPASSIONATE PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET. OUR TIMES TOGETHER WERE MEMORABLE. THANK YOU BILL FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID FOR ME. GOD BLESS YOU. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE. ANOTHER STAR IN THE HEAVENS, ANOTHER ANGEL SITTING WITH GOD.
