I want to extend my sincere sympathy to the family of Billy Phillips. While I didn't know him personally I knew his parents quite well when they lived for a time on Carolina Avenue with his grandpa Mr. Phillips.

To Billy's Family;
A favorite memory I have of Billy is when at his mom's funeral, he spoke, very sincerely, of how much family meant to him. He was a neat guy! God be with all of you.

I didn't know Bill Jr. I did grow up with
his father Bill Sr. I lived down the street from the Phillips.
Bill Sr. was a very nice person. I know that he died some time ago and wasn't around Springfield at the time.
My condolences to the family.

It's difficult to comprehend his passing marks the end of his family, as I knew it (Bill, Betty, Billy and Johnny).
Our thoughts and prayers are with Aliese, the children and...
