Not sure what to say?

One of the sharpest Sailors I have met with a fun sense of humor! Rest In Peace.

My heart is heavy. Cody was one of a kind. Rest easy Shipmate. It was a pleasure to have served with you brother. May God bless your soul and your family.

My thoughts and prayers to the family, of this great shipmate, USS MONTEREY. RIP brother, DC1 Shaw.

I had the pleasure of serving with Cody, Pigg is what we call him. As his Chief and friend, he was one of the hardest working sailors with determination and drive to accomplish any task or defeat any obstacle. All done with laughter and a wonderful sense of humor.

My heart got heavy when the word of his passing got to me. I am grateful to his family for sharing such a wonderful soul with us. He will always be in my memories. Fairwinds you will be truly missed

Farewell and following seas, shipmate, we have the watch...

Cody is an amazing person: incredibly smart, quick and easy sense of humor, hilarious and reliable. He will be missed greatly by his Navy Family. It was an honor and pleasure to serve with you. We love and miss you. Rest In Peace and my deepest condolences to his family.

My Cody, I watched you grow as a young man, Sailor and leader. You gave me MANY headaches but we also had MANY laughs and GREAT memories. You are so very smart, an amazing tech and beautiful person. I love you so much my Navy son/little brother. I miss our liberty memories, talks, the moment you called when you joined me in the CPO Ranks. I have been looking for you for years after we lost touch shortly after you called to inform me you were probably going to have a medical review board. My...

Man Carly I'm so sorry about this! You've lost 2 younger brothers and I can't even imagine what you and your family are feeling.
