Jennifer:

I would like to add an email comment in addition to Betty's letter to you.

As a youngster, I spent many hours visiting with your mother Jean (my cousin) in WV and OH, especially at 76 Fir Hill with our grandparents. I think I was in WWII when she married Bill.

Betty and I had lunch in Decatur with Bill shortly after Jean's death. He had such class!! Well dressed, knew exactly what he liked and what he disliked, and not hesitant in discussing the issues. He was...

William T., Grandpa, Daddy you are truly a missed man, I will never forget our long talks and your November 2006 conversation with me, I'm sorry I couldn't, I would have given everything and anything to make that wish of yours come true. I love you dearly and will miss you as I do Frank. I know you are with Jean and Frank now. Your daughter, Jennifer will carry your legacy on with dignity, she is as wonderful as you, so rest now and rejoice. Love Diane

Time can never erase my found memories of Bill. He will forever shine in my life. I'll never forget how much he loved the Christmas tree that year. Bill never ceased to remind us all of how much he loved his family. His favorite song was the "Christmas Canon" by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Rather it was Christmas or not, he loved to hear it because it was so beautiful. He said it reminded him of all the children in the world that was in need. He said that was his way of praying for them and...

Jennifer, I am sorry we didn't know your dad better. He sounds like a wonderful dad you were blessed to have--even a Renaissance man!! I write for our entire family when I say we are glad for our "younger" experiences with you and we hope you are at peace with your dad's passing. The best to you and yours always. I miss not running into you at the grocery, and I guess your children are about grown as are our grandchildren. Hello to David. I see his mother once in awhile. Marthelle and...

Even though Tracy, Stephanie, Keith, Maddie and I weren't blood related, you were our grandfather by choice and we loved you dearly. We will miss you, more than you will ever know. Good bye, Bill, we are happy that you are finally at peace.

Please accept our deepest condolences.

JENNIFER, I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR DAD'S DEATH. YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE IN MY PRAYERS.

Jennifer and family,
I will certainly miss your Dad in his dress shirt and tie, seersucker pants and straw hat with pipe in mouth on the back or in the driveway!! What fun it was holding up one of the other corners of Quince Drive as your neighbor and all of us growing up together. Your Dad always made me feel so special. I know this is a difficult time in your life and I pray the Lord blesses you and your family with peace and his grace!
