Not sure what to say?

Judge Pike married my wife and I on Friday, October 19, 2007 at the Summit county courthouse. It was actually Judge McCarty"s court room but she was not there that day and he was filling in, for which I am still grateful for to this day. I took it as a sign from God. He was a nice and good humored man and I can think of no other judge or justice of the peace that I would have wanted to officiate our marriage. May he rest in peace.

Pike Family,
As you move through this time, I hope you will find moments of grace when you need them the most.

Jay and Bob, We were saddened to hear of your loss. We had such fun with your mother and father and hold many memories of those special years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you both.

When my name and address went out as passing the bar, the first letter that came to me said ' I hope this is the first piece of mail you receive as a new attorney. It was. It was from the man who would swear me in as an attorney days latter. (Most people make a trip to Columbus to be sworn in at the Ohio Supreme Court together at the same time, I hope, as there were probably 800 of them.) I knew both of his sons from school, had hear him speak, and he said 'if I can ever help you' in the...

Heard the news of Judge Pike's passing when I arrived home from a trip. My deepest sympathies to the Pike family. I was privileged to serve as a City Prosecutor in his Court before moving on to the County Prosecutor's office. He was a good and Godly man and a judge from whom I learned some professional lessons. The highest compliment I could pay him was to ask him to preside over my marriage to Carol.Just hung up phone with my friend, Attorney Mike Bowler. Shared memories and laughs from our...

Dear Jay and Bob,I am so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was one of the finest men I've have ever known. He was always so kind to me and I had the highest respect for him. I couldn't make the calling hours because I'm in London for work, but I'm sending you many Prayers and Hugs. Love, Debi Kelly

My condolences in the loss of your father and grandfather. You know he will be happy to be reunited in spirit with Helen. Our loved ones leave the world, but never our hearts.

May it comfort you to know friends are thinking of you and keeping you in their prayers.

Bill was a wonderful person that always made time for anyone who needed some advice or just a friendly conversation. He was special and will be dearly missed by many.

Bob and Jay, I'm sorry being in Chicago I can't be there, but I'm very sad to hear of your father's passing. He is in a more peaceful place after what had to be a difficult struggle for him and all of you. May he rest in peace.
