Dear Nancy, Jennifer, and family:
My sincere condolences to all. It was a pleasure getting to know Bill and seeing how well Jennifer and Nancy cared for him. He is watching over them and his children sitting on his Harley. May God bless all.

Dear Nancy and Family:
We wish time spent with those we love could last forever..and in our hearts they will. Every Sunday I would read the article, cry and pray that by sharing Bill's journey with your readers in some small way it granted you peace and comfort. As time passes may the memories of Bill bring a smile to your face and warmth in your heart.
God Bless.

Nancy,
I found that reading your column brought back memories of walking the same path with loved ones in our family. You are a remarkable person, not only for what you were able to do to make Bill's remaining time here as comfortable as possible, but also for your willingness to share your experience. It is my hope that you have found strength to move forward and peace knowing that Bill is no longer beholden to his pain. God Bless and watch over you and your family at this time.

Nature
As a fond mother, when the day is o'er,
Leads by the hand her little child to bed,
Half willing, half reluctant to be led,
And leave his broken playthings on the floor,
Still gazing at them through the open door,
Nor wholly reassured and comforted
By promises of others in their stead,
Which, though more splendid, may not please him more;
So Nature deals with us, and takes away
Our playthings one by one, and by the hand
Leads us to rest so gently,...

Nancy, My heart just goes out to you. I cannot begin to imagine the pain of losing a child of any age. I admire you for caring for him and "bringing him home". God bless and keep you and your family through all of this and just know you are in my prayers. An admiring reader and mother of three
