R.I.P. uncle Bill.(That is what we called our belowed dr.Plested at Santa monica hospital.)I loved him dearly as a person and doctor for 30 years.

I was searching for a dear childhood friend, Stephanie when I came upon this sad news regarding the passing of her father. Dr. Plested 1992; I introduced to my dad who was searching for a surgeon. He chose above all Dr. Plested who did an amazing job. Dr. Plested is a one-of-a-kind being who lived his life to the fullest. My condolences to his family & friends.

Carolyn, Missy and I are so saddened to hear (from Steve)of Dr. Plested´s passing. Our sincere condolences to you and your family. Our Mother Nan´s favorite time of all was the Independence Day celebrations spent with Steve and all of you at the lake. God blessed this wonderful man with all of his precious gifts.

Carolyn and family, What a great legacy Dr. Plested authored and will leave us during his valuable time here, and it gives me such joy to know you will all be reunited in the future! Much love from the Palarea family!

He was the best of the best,great family man ,father of River ranch , thoracic surgeon, aviator, fisherman, hunter ,past President of the AMA, but best of all a true friend to many and to me especially.I will miss him greatly.
