Not sure what to say?

Very sorry to learn of Ed's passing; I knew him through elementary, middle, and high school. His passing is a loss to his friends and family, and to Charlotte and N.C.

I am sorry to hear of Eddie's passing. I worked for Eddie at Parker Poe in 2001. He was such a kind, appreciative employer. My husband was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2001 and after surgery with the recommendation of no further treatment, it was Eddie that suggested we get a 2nd opinion and recommended Dr. Boyd (said it was his father's oncologist). To our surprise my husband's cancer had returned and was extremely aggressive. I truly believe the Lord put Eddie in our lives for...

I knew Eddie from MPCC and played golf with him several times over the years. He was a great guy and will sorely be missed. My condolences to his family.

Please accept my deepest sympathy. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May the Lord rest his soul among His saints.

I knew Eddie from Carolina B'ball School through Law School @ Wake Forest. Constantly & reliably a good friend.

Sad loss of a great man. He will certainly be missed, both professionally and personally.

I was sadden to learn of the loss of Eddie. I was fortunate to have him as a client and he helped our firm gain more clients. May your memories sustain you at this difficult time. Carol Lomax Fotrtenberry

Prayers that Eddie is at peace and thoughts and prayers and grace to the family in their grief journey . I was on the Student Council at MPHS our senior year and a cheerleader and spectator for sports Eddie played. I knew him all years at MPHS
. As an environmentalist I appreciate his later work in that area. Thank you for his contributions to all. I believe he knew my husband Eddie Burnside for years growing up. Wish I had realized the service was today. Sorry I missed it.

I enjoyed my time with Eddie at Wake Forest University. Eddie was a wonderful fraternity brother and friend. He will be missed.
