Not sure what to say?

Dear Clem and Family, I was saddened to read the news of Bill's passing. You may remember that (Bev and) I followed (you and) Bill at Huguenot UMC in 1989. As gracious and kind as he was in the transition, I was pleased that he remained on the Richmond District. We enjoyed conversations and lunches together at District meetings. I fondly remember Bill at a meal describing his last jogging / hiking trip, which covered mega-miles. I was amazed at his ability to do that and asked George...

He was paster at Park View Methodist church back in the 70's and married my first husband and I in 1973.Was a wonderful preacher. So sorry for the family's loss

IN THE EARLY 1970'S HE WAS OUR MINISTER AT PARK VIEW UNITED METHODIST CHURCH IN LYNCHBURG. WE ALL LOVE HIM AND HIS FAMILY . ROGER "BUTCH " WRIGHT

Bill provide the eulogy at my father's (Carlton Phillips) funeral as they were close friends when living in Glady's as kids. God Bless the Pollok family!

I had the good fortune of getting to know "Bull" as a young person growing up in Gladys where my parents not only did business at the family store but attended his home church with them. I have many warm memories of him as a pastor whose joy and gratitude for the gift of life in all its fullness was infectious and inspiring. May all take comfort in knowing his life was a blessing to many

Rev. Pollock was my minister at Park View Methodist Church. He was always available to listen when I had a problem or share in my in my victories. Please know that Clem and his family are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Bill was a truly a good man and one of a kind. He always made you feel like you were the only one that mattered, he really wanted to know you. His humor was infectious. His family has always most important in his life after Christ.
