Not sure what to say?

We miss you Bill. Our Norwich group talks about you often

Remembering Pomps: Bill and I were Rooks together in "F Troop", top floor of Goodyear Hall, (Freshman year) @ Norwich. We were both Engineering majors. At the end of rook year, he was one of the bright 30% selected to continue on as an engineer. I had to go looking for another major, if I was going to stay @ Norwich! :o)
What I remember most about Bill was how disciplined he was, as a student who worked very hard and as a cadet. His shoes always the shiniest, his uniform always crisply...

I knew Bill as an engineer student at Norwich. I mostly hung out with engineer students and saw Bill frequently to and from class. I was a year ahead of Bill and clearly remember him as always in a good mood. I am so very sorry to hear of his passing. So many years early. Best regards.

To Jan, Jenn, Bill, and all who loved and cared about Pomps: We are so very saddened by Pomps passing. We missed him at reunion which is always a special time at Norwich. Jan, remember when he tried to convince Diane that pizza was good for Poppy back in '78? Norwich friendships are among the very best. Blessings to you all, Diane & Bob '70

Dear Jan, Jenn and Bill Jr.,
I was very saddened to hear the news of my college roommate and life long friend-"Pomps". I have enjoyed his many conversations over the years and will miss his annual New Year's Eve telephone calls.
My sincere condolences to you at this time.

I am sorry to hear of Bill's passing. As a fellow classmate of Bill's (NU 70) I remember the good times we had while at Norwich. I remember Bill's love of cars back then. My condolences go out to his family. The world has lost another great individual and soldier. May he rest in peace.

Jan I was so sad to learn of "Pomps'" passing! We all had so many years of fun times in college days and after. The Norwich family was/is such a close one! I wish I had known, I would have most definitely been there for the calling hours and service. His other Norwich friends would have been there as well. Please extend my sympathies to you Bill Jr and Jennifer. Thinking of you all!
Warmest regards!
