Not sure what to say?

Just bought tonight12/06/2022 one of his original watercolors, "Coves Lobster Pavilion". Cherishing his obituary's wonderful mention of his quest for living despite all odds. His painting reflects a snowy determination to seek shelter in the face of a blizzardy storm. He seemed to face storms, and seemed to overcome them with pure determination. Glad to own a piece of his work! God's peace Mr. William Preston.

I always felt so welcome when I visited Bill and Marianne's gallery and home when I was visiting our daughter Angela. Our sympathy to Marianne. Carole Bratton

My dad's cousin....the man he was raised with....I remember meeting Bill in Maine with his 1st wife and young son, Stuart. I was just a little girl....but there was something about him...a "feeling" I got...of meeting a kindred spirit. I lost my dad years ago....Jim Jensen. He was my light, & the world has been so much "less" without him. I know it will be the same for those who knew & loved Bill.

Love and blessings to you Marianne.

Dear Marianne--I'm sad with you in the loss of your beloved husband. I know this pain...

Your evolution in that time from traditional master landscape painter to your exquisitely devic Pond Paintings to Sumi watercolors mirrored your inner spiritual expression and flowering. You have become one with the canyons of...

It is a special privilege to have been invited into William's world.

Bill, in your paintings you are still around me, in our house and in my studio. Thanks for what you taught me.
