Not sure what to say?

I am still in shock and so very sad that Mark is not in our lives anymore. He was larger than life and always made me laugh!

I can never thank him enough for giving me the greatest gift, my God Son Jackson a.k.a. Elvis.

They were very cute when they were together. Jackson loved to drive the "daddy truck" and jam to his Daddy's favorite tunes. (very loud I may add) I will never forget talking to Mark after Fathers Day this year when he expressed how proud he was that WD...

Stephanie – I just found out late yesterday and I still can’t quite believe it. Even though we haven’t been in touch for some time, I still consider you and Mark the closest of friends – and of course Mark was indeed, one of my ALL-TIME best buddies. You’ll never know how much I missed you both when you moved to North Carolina. On my fridge, and for over 16 years, I’ve had a picture of you and Mark taken in Kingston, NY (where Mark is holding you with one arm, and with his free hand a...

Dear Stephanie-we've been out of touch for so long, but the memories I have of you and Mark are ones I still treasure. Our trip to New York, occasional card nights and the many evenings at Time Out. I am so sorry for your loss and you are all in my prayers.

I will remember all the great times Mark and I spent together playing basketball at R.D. Evans and Arlington Height High School for Coach Dickerson. Mark was a great friend and I will really miss him.

We have fond memories of Mark during his high school and college years. He was such a good friend to our son Jack. We have a wonderful picture of the two of them after a golf tournament in Eastland where they each won a set of irons. We're so sorry he's gone and send love to his family.

Since our days at Ridglea Hills Elementary, Mark has been a great friend! We had so many memorable times "hawking" golf balls in Mary's Creek, swimming at R.P.A., hooping at R.D. Evans, golfing at Z. Boas, Benbrook, and Ridglea C.C. and simply "growing up". Mark and his mom pretty much "took me in" during our junior year when my parents moved away and we were playing basketball at Arlington Heights. We spent many nights together on Tamworth Lane and I will always be grateful. Unfortunately,...

Dear Stephanie and WD,
We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Michael, my son, was a good friend of WD's at the pool and we enjoyed seeing WD and his father earlier this summer at the pool. Michael is so sorry, WD to hear the news of your father's death. He was, as others have noted, an outgoing gregarious person.

Dear Stephanie and W.D.
I was deeply saddened to hear the news about Mark. He and I met several years ago at Lucky 32 and saw him a few times in the last year at Michael Deans. Stephanie, my husband Joe and I met you briefly a year or so ago. Mark was a great person and will be missed by all who knew him. I am truly sorry for your loss.

I first met Mark at Lucky 32 in Raleigh many years ago when the usual Friday after work crowd would gather. Mark was full of mischief, laughter and always had a kind word and a hug ready. He was always the "light" in the room. I am deeply saddened by his loss and extend my sympathies to his family.
