I am very sorry to hear about the loss of Bill. He was truly a great inspiration and person to be around. Mr. Putnam was my Delco League baseball coach for many years. He was one of the main reasons my friends and father had became so involved in this league. Bill and my father Joe grew so close because of this team. It was truly an honor to play for Bill and seeing his happy face rooting for the Canes every year in the playoffs, just hoping we would win him that one Delco League title. We...

I am so very sad to hear of the loss of Bill (Putt)He grew up with my brother Bill and was always over our house growing up...I am Bills older sister Cheryl Mac Pherson...We lived right across the street from Bill growing up...He was a great guy..We went to a Springsteen concert at the Spectrum around 1982...we had a blast...I can still see Bill singing and dancing....He was the guy that always made you laugh and have a good time...He helped me at my moms when she fell and couldn't get...
