Not sure what to say?

We knew him as "Mr. Quirk," our smiling and warm physics teacher at Academy High School in Erie, PA during the 1967-68 school year. His students highly respected him and his optimistic demeanor earned him a place as one of the many great teachers, leaders, patriots and genuine role models that I fondly remember in my experience in the Erie School District. He came from an era that was brimming with real men, men of substance, men of good will and men of integrity. They don't quite make 'em...

Mr. Quirk was my H.S. Physics teacher and I later got to work with him as a registered rep. for Planmember Services. He was a great teacher and just a nice guy. I was saddened to hear of his passing. You have my condolences.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

My family and I are so very appreciative of everyone's support. This week has been both difficult and remarkable. Difficult obviously because of the void we all feel now that Dad is in heaven. Remarkable because of the incredible depth of gratitute expressed for him by so many friends & relatives and for what he meant to others. Thank you all so much for your kind words and help this past week.

Dear Pat, I was saddend to hear of Bill's passing. I have been in Florida for the past month so I was not able to honor Bill in person. I admired Bill for his good humor abd quick wit. He was a friend that will be greatly missed. Ben Mosier, M.O.O.A.

Dear Pat,
I just read of Bill's passing today, and am so saddened by this news. What a nice man he was, and so kind. Please know that your family is in my prayers. I hope to see you at church soon.

My condolences to the Quirk Family. Mr. Quirk was my Physics teacher at Academy (Class of 1981). I appreciated his direct teaching, honesty and humor.
