Chambers Funeral Homes - North Olmsted Obituary

WILLIAM R. LULL, age 83, beloved husband of 58 years to Mary (nee Heil); loving father of Steven (Colleen), Julia Henderson (Mark) and Christopher (Erica); proud grandfather of Alek Henderson, Nathan Lull, Ryan Henderson, Seth Henderson, Alan Lull, Jaedyn Lull and Anderson Lull; dear brother of David (deceased) (Susan) and Robert (Linda); uncle and friend of many. He passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025.

Bill loved racing, whether on motorcycles, cars, or sailboats. He was happiest traveling to remote destinations and helped create wonderful and adventurous camping trips for his family. Music was the backdrop to his life and continues to weave a tapestry of memories for his family.

Bill loved a good party, so a Celebration of Life will be held on May 31, 2025, at Wagner’s of Westlake, beginning at noon with a prayer service. If you plan to attend, RSVP to Mary, Steven, Julia, or Christopher by May 18th. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bill’s name can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org), 23215 Commerce Park, Suite 300, Beachwood, OH 44122.

Bill so great to know you and remember all the times of directions and help carrying the foods into home for all the lovely parties at your place. God bless you and all your family. Love hugs kisses to all. Judie Shields

We were fortunate to have called Mary and Bill friends. We enjoyed good food, wine, good times, and even an Indians game them. Bill will be remembered for his sharp mind, many interests, and good advise when solicited.

Mary and family,
Our deepest condolences and prayers. Some time ago, I read something similar to the following and I copied it as it seemed so meaningful and so appropriate to share with my friends who have lost a loved one:
Those we love do not go away. They walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but always near. So loved, so missed and very dear. Love is a bond that death cannot part. Gone from your arms but always in your heart. Although no words can really help the loss...

Mary, so sorry for your loss.while your heart is heavy, all your good memories and family will help you through.

So very sorry for your loss! Thoughts and prayers for the family. Deepest Sympathy.

We are sorry for the loss, you are feeling.
Gone from the earth, but he lives on in all of you. We had some good times together and he will be remembered and missed. God be with all of you. Darla and George

So sorry for your loss.A man beloved by his family. He leaves a hole in your hearts but I trust your memories will keep it filled.

Very sorry for your loss. Hopefully he is as happy now as he was on that sailboat.
