Not sure what to say?

My husband tried to call Gick this evening and found out the phone had been disconnected. Harlan was diagnosed with terminal cancer and Gick kept him in his prayers, while he had so much going on in his own life. I searched Gick's name on the internet and was so sad when I saw that he had passed away - Harlan will feel very sad when he sees this in the morning. We have spent many, many years together in Hawaii, and truly love Gick and Joyce.

REMEMBERING THE TIMES WE WENT TO CHURCH TOGETHER IN LR and what a nice person he was. Vonda Doss

HI Spence, Heidi and Kids, We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved granddad. We hope his "homegoing celebration" tomorrow will be joyful. We love and miss you all. Thinking of you and praying for everyone's safety as Hurricane Isaac passes through ... ~ Susan, Kim, Dylan & Kathleen

Mr. Spencer was active in helping out Boy Scout Troop #196 in the 1960's. He always set a fine leadership example for myself, his son, Bill Spencer Jr. who was a very dear friend of mine for over 40 years and the rest of the scouts to follow. The contribution of his time made a difference in the lives of the young men and are long remembered. My prayers and thoughts are with his family with the loss of a very decent and honorable man. He will be missed.

Praying for the Spencer family. Pastor Doyle Whitesel

I want to convey my sincere sympathy to the family and friends. Gick was my Sunday School Teacher when I lived in Little Rock.

Esther, my deepest sympathy to you at the passing of your brother. Love,

Gick is so special to our family and our church family. God truly blessed us with his presence, knowledge and example. May he rest in peace knowing that he set a very high example for us to follow with his love of the Lord and his family.
