Thinking of you Grandpop

Miss you GrandPop

Dad,
There could never have been a better Father than you, but you knew that because I told you. Our later years relationship was more than Father and Daughter, but advisor and friend. You were always there when any of us needed you. Don't forget that you promised to meet me when it is my turn to leave this earth. It will be so good to see you again.
My love to all that you are with now, and remember how much you were loved here on earth - by many more than just your family.

We were so saddened to hear of Bill's passing. He and Betty were our favorite neighbors of all time! He was like a second grandfather to our kids when they were growing up. In recent years we would see him often at Rider's Mass. Father Bruno told us this past Sunday of your loss. We are so sorry that we did not know in time to express our condolences in person. Bill always had a kind word, a smile, and a little joke to share whenever we would meet, and we will always remember him fondly. ...

Dad, We love you and miss you already. You were always the example of strength, love, selflessness, and true Christianity to all of us. Hopefully we can try to live up to the example that you were to all of us. What a wonderful life you led and an amazing legacy you leave.

A loving, caring, faith-filled dad whose kindness extended to everyone he encountered. Thank you for your expressions of sympathy and kind words.

The best neighbor we ever had.
He treated us like we were his family.
